The Challenge

Jyoti Yatra retells Indian mythology, pilgrimages and festival stories in Hindi. Growing the channel meant publishing on a strict calendar (Navratri, Karwa Chauth, Diwali and other festivals fall on fixed dates), keeping a consistent cinematic style across dozens of episodes, and turning viewers spread across YouTube, Instagram and Facebook into one loyal audience. The brand also needed a home on the web that stays current without anyone editing pages by hand.

Our Strategic Approach

Code Peacock built a production pipeline that goes from screenplay to upload-ready package: AI-generated scenes and narration, local FFmpeg assembly, thumbnails, Hindi subtitles and metadata, with every series tracked in a schedule file. On top of that schedule we built jyotiyatra.in as a fast static site in Hindi. A Python build step reads the channel's public videos and the production schedule, then generates every page; a cron job on our Docker/Traefik VPS rebuilds it every hour, so new uploads, view counts and upcoming premieres appear automatically.

Key Technical Achievements

  • Self-Updating Website, No CMS

A dependency-free Python generator builds the home page, six series pages, a page per video and a premiere calendar from live channel data plus the internal schedule. Builds swap in atomically and are served by nginx behind Traefik with automatic Let's Encrypt certificates.

  • SEO from Subtitles

Each episode page embeds the full Hindi story text taken from the video's subtitle file, plus VideoObject structured data and a sitemap, so search engines can index stories that would otherwise live only inside a video.

  • Engagement Features That Bring People Back

A 12-Jyotirlinga map where a diya lights up as each episode goes live, countdowns with one-tap calendar reminders for every premiere, a mantra of the day, and a 108-bead digital jap mala that remembers each visitor's count on their phone.

  • Repeatable AI Video Production

Consistent characters, narration voice, music bed, watermark and thumbnail style across series such as 12 Jyotirlinga Yatra, Navratri 2026 and festival specials, with an upload pack for each episode so publishing takes minutes.
